Make it easy to investigate
- Include your Vextrilo version, device model, and iOS or iPadOS version.
- Name the game and puzzle date, and say whether it was Daily or Practice.
- Describe what you expected, what happened, and the steps that led there.
- A screenshot can help. Remove private information first, and do not post exported progress files publicly.
Common questions
Is the daily puzzle the same for everyone?
Yes. Each game has one fixed puzzle per UTC date. Practice difficulty does not change it. Daily boards remain tied to their original dates. The first collection contains 1,000 dates per game, from September 20, 2026 through June 15, 2029; these entries are not recycled after the end of that collection.
How do I play more puzzles?
Open Practice, choose a game and difficulty, and generate another puzzle. Use the archive to revisit published daily dates.
Do I need the internet or an account?
All games work offline, and there is no Vextrilo account. Optional iCloud progress sync needs an Apple account with iCloud Drive enabled and an internet connection.
How do I move my progress?
In Settings, enable Sync with iCloud on devices using the same Apple account. Check the displayed sync status and use Sync now if needed. You can also export a backup and import it on another device. Keep a backup before deleting the app or erasing progress.
Why does a result say Assisted?
Hints, checks, and reveals are recorded. Undoing a move or restarting does not remove that history. Replaying a completed puzzle does not replace its first scored result.
Why does Bloom accept some extra words?
The daily garden has a fixed point goal. Its core words guarantee that goal is reachable; additional recognized English words can also count if they follow the letter and length rules. Older saved gardens retain their original rules.
Why can Glow’s warmth vary between devices?
Glow uses Apple’s on-device language model when available and bundled relationships for its fallback. The answer and clues are fixed; approximate warmth scores can differ with the operating system. The game explains which method it is using.
Can I make text larger?
Vextrilo follows the device’s text-size setting, supports light and dark appearance, and adapts layouts on iPhone and iPad. At larger accessibility sizes, scroll to reach the full board and its controls.
How do I delete my progress?
Use Erase progress in Settings. When sync is enabled, other devices apply the reset as they reconnect. Exported backups remain until you delete them. See the privacy policy for iCloud storage controls.
